My sister told me about this great idea she saw on her friend's blog, to read her post click here. Yes, these are crayons, way fun and way easy.
First you get some brownie molds. I got these at Micheal's and used my 40% off coupons for them. Then I bought some crayons. This would be a great project to get rid of all those little leftover crayons. Then you need to take off all the paper. Dipping the crayons in water make the paper come off more easily. I recommend putting 4 broken crayons into each one, especially the flowers and hearts because they are larger than the stars. Heat the oven to 250 and cook for about 12 min. You want them to be completely melted. Take them out, let them cool, pop them out, and give them to the kids!
These turned out way cute and the kids had so much fun making them and then coloring with them. This would be a great project for Family Home Evening.

Our YW did this for a value experience and gave them to the nursery. They had fun and loved the results of all that paper peeling;)
This looks like so much fun! Is there a shape that is easier for the kids to color with? I'm thinking maybe the stars?
Stars were definitely the easiest.
Hey, you linked back to me. Cool! This IS a fun project.
