If you can't tell, this recipe is LOADED with love (aka calories). But this cake, when made properly, is seriously amazing. I got this recipe from my aunt. My cousins kept raving about how flawless this pound cake was and telling me that I had to try it. So, I did and it is truly, indescribably perfect.
Be careful to follow the recipe to a tee. Please let me know if my instructions are unclear to you. This is one recipe that you won't want to mess up.
This is the type of dessert that would be better to make for when you have a group of friends coming over...to spread the guilt around!!!
